use physical constants to show that 1eV/atom=96.49kJ/mol

1 electron volt = 1.6 x 10-19 Joules or 1 electron volt/atom = 1.6 x 10-19 Joules/atom

96.49kJ/mol = 96.49 kJ/ 6.02 x 1023 = 1.603 x 10-22 kJ/atom = 1.603 x 10-19 J/atom

and 1.603 x 10-19 J/atom = 1 electron volt/atom.
