1) 30.0cm3 of 1.52 M sodium hydroxide solution is added to 20.0cm3 of 1.14 M sulphuric acid. What is the molarit of the resulthing sodium sulphate solution?


2) 0.200M dilute hudrochloric acid was added to 25.0 cm3 of 0.400M calcium hydroxide solution until complete neutralization. What is the concentration of calcium chloride in the resulting solution?

Find moles of each reactant using volume in Litres x molarity.

Write the balanced reaction equation to find the stoichiometry of the reactants and product.

Decide which reactant is limiting and use this to find the number of moles of product that can be made,

Add the two volume of reactants together in litres and divide this value into the number of moles of product to get the molarity of the product.
